TRWL Staunton Country Park 2011

A very pleasant spring day, ideal conditions for a trot around the woods, making a pleasant change from the previous event at Manor Farm. This course is a perhaps more harder to run as you are alternating between firm forest tracks and muddy paths and just like Manor farm you have a gentle incline at the finish.
As the weather was dry, it was an opportunity to give the back-up camera a good work out. Several lessons have been learnt, like the need for for some class 10 SDHC cards as the camera could not write to the cards fast enough. This is why there are not so many pictures from location 1 and I have only have 1 picture for most people instead of the 2 that I normally take at location 2. I also need to look at some of the camera settings as a few images look softer than I would normally like.
Hopefully this will be the last year that I will photographing the TRWL races. This is the sort of running I enjoy the most and baring any more injuries I will be out amongst you (although to the rear of the field) next season.... If I'm on the side lines next year with the camera it means there has been another set back and perhaps it's time to exchange the running vest for a marshal's bib. I will still be out with the camera to cover the normal PJC road races + any other's I go along to heckle, sorry meant to say support, any friends who are running.
I was at two location,
First location was about 1 mile into the run - for photos click on this link Location 1 Photos
Second location was about 50m from the finish line - for photos click on this link Location 2 Photos
