DSRA X-Country 2009

It was a glorious day for a trot in the woods. Due to all the bad weather we have had over the last few weeks the course was the muddiest I've seen it in for years, making it a true cross country event!. A few of the more hardy runners took the water feature option, the rest deciding to take the bridge. I noticed that on one of the descents their was the remains of snow/ice on the ground - that must have made the descent a little interesting.

I was at the location of the water feature. I was concentrating on getting photos of my team members, so if you where running at a slower pace their may not be a picture of you, as I switched over to the capture the leading runners on the second lap.

Thanks to all at the DSRA for organising such a superb event, and to the rec club for proving the excellent post race spread and the legendary muffins.

I have included all the images that would give reasonable prints ... The images are taken with a 12MPixel DLSR and the images on the site have not been cropped or colour corrected - I will leave that for you to do if you decide to print any image.

Next year I hope to be running (subject to not getting a bad cold again or injuring myself again.. the hazards of this running lark).

If you would like a FREE full size digital copy of the image, e-mail the image number to alandunkdenmead@aol.com, or use the request image link at the bottom of each photo. I will try respond to all request's within 48hrs. If I don't respond within 24hrs please allow a few more days before requesting the image again just in case I'm away.  If I have still not responded, please try using a different e-mail account as your e-mail/my e-mail response could have been zapped by a spam filter some where in the e-mail chain.

All images can be freely used for personal use, running club websites and running club newsletter's etc. The copy write notice is only their  to deter anyone from trying to sell my images commercially.
