Denmead 10K - 2009

It was an ideal autumnal weather for a run, the only downside been having to mix it with the traffic on the return leg. The course is mostly flat with a little climb around the 4km mark just to raise the heart rate a little.
This is my "home ground", and I can be been seen running on the roads/paths to the north of the village, which are a lot quieter but a lot more undulating.
For the start of the race I was at my favourite location at the harvest home roundabout. The new finish position was not ideal for getting good photos, so I had to hunt around for another location. The second location was on forest road, just after the 9 km point. Not quite an ideal location, as their was a high voltage line in the background. I'd had rejected a point near the 2 roundabouts as telegraph poles where in the way... so instead of having power cables in the shot, you may have had a telegraph pole coming out of your head... Any Photoshop experts will find in a lot easier to remove the power cables (against a blue background). Will take a wander to hunt out a new location for next year so the photos are free of all distracting clutter.
I was at the usual 2 locations this year:
The first point was about 300m from the start, on the harvest home roundabout.
